Aqualms Basic Ref. Sheet

wooooow i hate making things SUPER LONG! but i had to this time
anyways I guess I decided on a name, I'll still with Aqualms for now!
I'll write down some basic info real quick

Aqualms are semi-aquatic, omnivore, fleshy animals. They have round heads with small eyes and a big 4-way split mouth. Nearly all of them are born blind and don't ever open their eyes, although there are some born with sight, those are considered mutants. They actually echolocation to get around and find their food, as well as using other heightened senses. While they are omnivores, they eat mostly fruits and veggies compared to proteins like fish and crustaceans.

Normal/Frequent tend to have normal, rounded heads, with average length necks. Unusuals have the same rounded heads but their necks tend to be shorter. Rare/Supernals can have more extended heads and necks.
Normal/Frequent ones are born with two sets of ears, one large and one small. Unusuals only have 1 set of smaller ears. Rare/Supernals have the set of two but both are larger and more sensitive.

Normal/Frequent/Unusual ones have only 3 toes. Most of the time they keep their toes together, but split, the toes are webbed to help swim and dig. It's sturdy, hard skin that rarely ever split or cut. Rare/Supernal ones usually have 4 toes. They work in the same way as the usual 3.

Normal/Frequent/Unusual ones have soft bellies, they only become semi-translucent if pregnant with eggs or if they're mutated. Rare/Supernal ones always have semi-translucent bellies, usually you can see their organs inside.

Normal/Frequent Aqualms have medium-sized fleshy fins on the side of their hips that help them keep or change direction when swimming. They can turn them nearly 180 degrees. Unusuals are born with smaller, immobile fins, they cannot use them at all. Rare/Supernals have larger fins and can use them even more than others. They can even go as far as to wrap them around things and pick up light objects.

Normal/Frequents have average sized tails that fan out flat in laying down, usually they're lightly bended in a small arc when just walking around. They use them to keep/change directions when swimming too, as well as to show off to potential mates. Unusuals actually have smaller tails that don't fan out as much. Rare ones have long tails that fan out farther for easier swimming. Supernals have longer and sometimes even double tails. Tails can come in all shapes and designs, the ones in the picture are the most basic.

Some other side things they can have: horns, hair, manes, teeth, claws.
